Jacqueline Audrey Witt, affectionately known as Jackie, was a beacon of love and generosity, whose life journey began on May 11, 1952, in Flemington, NJ. It is with a heart full of cherished memories that we announce her peaceful passing on July 11, 2025, at Medstar Hospice, surrounded by the warmth of her loving family.
Jackie's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. Married for 55 years to her soulmate, Kenneth Witt, she was the cornerstone of a family that grew and thrived through her unwavering support. Jackie's legacy continues through her sons, Ken Witt, Jr., Kyle Witt, and Keith Witt, who each carry a spark of her spirit. Her grandchildren, Ken Witt III, Kassandra Witt, Katerina Witt, and Kevin Witt, Cierra Witt, along with her great-grandchildren, Lilly Anna and Vivian, were the joy of her life. She was a sister to John, Jan, Jeff, Judy, and Joe, relationships she treasured deeply.
Though she embraced her role as a homemaker with passion, Jackie's influence stretched far beyond the walls of her home. Her zest for life was contagious, and her culinary skills were legendary. She had a knack for turning simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes, with her bacon spaghetti and chicken cacciatore becoming the stuff of family legend. Jackie's love for Italian cuisine was matched only by her enjoyment of the casino, where she often triumphed over the odds, much to Ken's amazement.
Jackie's life was a masterclass in the art of giving. She taught us that the richest person is not the one who has the most but the one who needs the least. Her faith-filled approach to life was a guiding star, illuminating the path for all who knew her. She embodied the true meaning of generosity, not just through material gifts, but through the time, care, and love she so freely gave.
In remembering Jackie, we find ourselves inspired to live as she did - with open hearts, open arms, and a zest for life that can't be extinguished. She reminded us to find joy in the small things: a well-cooked meal, a stroke of luck, the laughter of children. Jackie's story encourages us to embrace every moment, to love deeply, and to leave a legacy of kindness.
Let us honor Jacqueline Audrey Witt by living each day with the same loving and generous spirit she shared with us. Her journey on earth may have concluded, but her influence remains a powerful force. Jackie's memory will continue to motivate and guide us, as we keep her spirit alive in our actions and our love.
