Obituary
James Roger Thomas, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May 20,2021, surrounded by his family. He was 65.
Mr. Thomas was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to James Edward Thomas and Elizabeth Myra Thomas. He was the devoted husband of the late Kimberly Renee Schweers Thomas, loving father of Justin Thomas and his wife Jill, of Aberdeen, MD, and Megan Leopard and her husband D.J., of Abingdon, MD. He was the adored grandfather of Zachary, Evelyn, and Lorelei Thomas, and brother of Marshall Thomas, Barbara Helvey, Joan Gorham, and Gail Lemoureux.
Mr. Thomas was a heavy equipment operator for Arundel Sand and Gravel. He would often drive the front-end loader for the quarry during the Havre de grace 4th of July parade. He loved driving around town, dropping Slurpees off to his grandkids, and watching the Orioles and Redskins.
