Janet Marie Catherine Krokowski, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on September 11, 2017. She was 88.
Mrs. Krokowski was born in Columbia, PA, to Frederick Robert Rietschy and Katherine Irine Fissel Rietschy. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald Krokowski, loving mother of Timothy Krokowski of Jessup, MD, and Robert Krokowski of Boston, MA. She was the dear sister of Gerald "Paul" Rietschy of PA, Dorothy Goebel of Havre de Grace, MD, and the late Edward Rietschy and Robert Rietschy.
Mrs. Krokowski was a founding member of Young At Heart in Havre de Grace, MD, and also was active with Grace Place. She enjoyed working her farm, traveling and completing puzzles.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, from 5-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at 10:00 AM, at First Christian Church, 800 Giles St., Havre de Grace, MD. Pastor Ron Tabor will officiate. Interment will be held at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
