Ms. Jennifer Lynn Schwartz died February 14, 2024, in the Hospice of Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Jenny was born February 15, 1949, to the late Erdman "Gus" Schwartz and Elsie Haven Schwartz in Havre de Grace, MD.

She was a Registered Nurse with a forty-year career as an intensive care nurse in the VA Hospital in Perry Point, MD. Jenny is survived by her brother William Erdman Schwartz, her sister-in-law, Patricia Schwartz, Lutherville, MD, and her sister Cynthia Lorraine Schwartz, Oxford, MS. She is also survived by her eight nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved dogs, Kodi and Kenji.

Jenny is remembered for her passion for travel and learning about other cultures. Her nieces and nephews were greatly influenced by her interests. Jenny was an avid reader and a collector of rocks and plants. She had a menagerie of pets including reptiles, cats, chickens, hamsters, birds, and many others. A special memory of all her nieces and nephews is her love of the Rolling Stones, even before they were popular. Jenny was also a collector of rocks and designer dolls.

The family is so appreciative of the support Jenny received from her life-long dear friend Patty Williams Kilduff from Kingsville, MD.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 12-1 PM, with a service at 1:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Chaplain John Richardson will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Human Society of Harford County, 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD 21047.
