Jerry Wayne Haga

Mr. Jerry Wayne Haga of Aberdeen, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2008, at GilchristCenter in Baltimore, MD. He was 59 years old.

Mr. Haga was born in Fountain Green, MD to the late Wayne W. and Ruby (Holdway) Haga. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Linda D. (Mayhugh) Haga.

He was a devoted father of Ronald E. Shaffer and his wife Dawn M. of Fort Hood, TX, Jacob W. Haga of Aberdeen, MD and Crystal D. Vacek of Edgewood, MD. He was a loving grandfather to Chris Bines of Havre de Grace, MD, Zach Myers of Ft. Benning, GA, Kayla Shaffer of Ft. Hood, TX, Jesse Shaffer of Ft. Hood, TX, Brian Shaffer of Ft. Hood, TX and Kali Vacek of Edgewood, MD. He was survived by his brothers Larry Haga of Manchester, NJ, Richard Haga of Middle River, MD and his sister Geneva Osborne of Roanoke, VA.

Jerry loved his motorcycle and motorcycles. He enjoyed NASCAR and Boxing. He was an amazing builder and enjoyed building things. He had worked as a Construction Foreman for Dixie. He was also a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
