Obituary
John Jerry Lee, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on July 27, 2024. He was 85 years old.
Mr. Lee was born in Hobart, OK, to John Roy Lee and Ursula Gaines Lee. He was the devoted husband of Daphne Lee for 45 years, and father of Loren Lee, and Dale Kline (Joan Kline), and brother to Joyce Karnes. He was predeceased by beloved siblings; Vallajo Merriman, Robert Lee, Michael "Bruce" Lee, and Brian Lee.
Although born in Oklahoma, Mr. Lee grew up in Williams, Arizona. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Lee retired from Union Bank of California. He was a member of the Lions Club. Mr. Lee was a skilled leather craftsman and gifted many wallets, book covers and belts to his family. He enjoyed fishing, card games, softball and was an avid L.A. Dodgers fan.
A gathering in his honor will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 2-4 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 927 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace, MD. Lee family services will be held at a later date in Arizona.
