Joseph Serfine Liberatore, Jr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on June 30, 2023. He was 76.

Mr. Liberatore was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Joseph Serfine Liberatore, Sr., and Helen Lois Galinski Liberatore. He was the loving father of Denise Lynne Glassman (Matt) and Keri Jo Meehan (Tim Mortus), grandfather of Katelyn Glassman, Zachary Meehan, Kelsey Glassman (Kane Watson), and Ethan Meehan, great-grandfather of Rowan Matthew Glassman. He was the brother of Anne Gregory (Jim) and brother-in-law of Sandra A. LaFontaine. Mr. Liberatore was the companion of Anna Hall. He was predeceased by his wife Lynn Marie Auman Liberatore, and Judy Liberatore.

Mr. Liberatore served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and crabber. He enjoyed baseball and loved trains. He also loved his Chocolate Lab "Captain".

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 10 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Darlington Cemetery.
