Obituary
Katherine Emily Goad of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on July 2, 2016. She was 87.
Mrs. Goad was born in Virginia to the late Franklin K. Buchanan and Hazel E. Leonard.
She was the loving wife of the late Elmer O. Goad. She is survived by her children Elmer Goad, Jr, Kathleen Smith, Deborah Buchannan, Nina Ostrowski and their families. She was preceded in death by her children Harrison Shupe and Constance Provost.
She loved her job as a Medicine Aide at Citizens Care Center, the outdoors, gardening and cooking.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Dixon, Jr. will officiate.
Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, MD.
Pallbearers will be David Ostrowski, Jr., Mark Short, Anthony DeProspero, Andrew Swallows, Holden Ostrowski and Joshua Ostrowski.
Memory contributions may be made to Citizens Care Center, 415 S. Market St, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
