Kenneth Anthony Beresh, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on May 17, 2021. He was 76. Mr. Beresh was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Anthony Francis Beresh and Elsie Evelyn Beresh and was the devoted husband of 53 years to Carol Ann Beresh.
Mr. Beresh spent his young adult life in a time when the Motown sound of pop, rhythm and blues, and soul revolutionized the music industry. By the time he was 16, Mr. Beresh emerged as a top drummer on the circuit for local and national bands. Once married, he turned his heart towards his family, although he never stopped being a musician and could often be found playing in small groups and church bands around town.
Mr. Beresh will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor along with his unending dedication to his children and grandchildren. He was known for his kindness, compassion, and charisma. He had a genuine interest in people and a passion for helping others. Mr. Beresh could always make you smile.
Mr. Beresh was the loving father of Holly Beresh McCormack, Kenneth Anthony Beresh, Jr., (Tanya), and Dustin Andrew Beresh, Sr. He was the grandfather of seven wonderful grandchildren - Brandon Ingley, Cory Willems, Sophia Beresh, Kenneth "Andy" Beresh, III, Samuel Beresh, Dustin Beresh Jr., and Remington "Remi" Beresh. He was the brother of Cyrilla Parlett, Janet Bahel, Judith "Judi" Lauder, and the late Donald Beresh. Mr. Beresh will be sorely missed by all.
The family will receive friends at Zellman Funeral Home in Havre de Grace on Friday, May 21, from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:30 AM, at Restore Church in Havre de Grace where Pastor Glenn Ewart and Pastor Adam Barnes will officiate.
Interment will be private.
