Laurie Shealy McKee, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on January 9, 2023. She was 68.

Ms. McKee was born in Columbia, South Carolina, to William Jackson Shealy and Mildred Perry Shealy. She was the devoted and loving mother of Justin McKee of Havre de Grace, MD, and dear sister of Sheryl Moureaux, Susan Grice, and Robin Perkins.

Ms. McKee graduated from Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina, and then attained her Bachelor's Degree from University of South Carolina. She returned to Dreher High School to teach art and graphic design. Ms. McKee enjoyed art, photography, and gardening.

Funeral services will be held on January 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Dunbar Funeral Home, 3926 Devine Street, Columbia, South Carolina, 29205.
