Linda Kay Evans
Linda Kay Evans, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on August 30, 2010. She was 69. She was born in Madison, West Virginia, to the late Oley Cunningham and Louisa Workman. She was the loving mother of Lisa Lynn Childress and her husband Keith, and Joseph Evans, Jr., and his wife May. She was the adored grandmother of Jessica Elizabeth Evans and Deanna Angeline Evans. She was the sister of Joan and George Cox and the late Douglas Ferrell. Ms. Evans was a member of the 1st Christian Church. She volunteered for several schools, and was a former cub-scout and girl-scout leader. She also was active in several bowling leagues. Pallbearers will be Keith Childress, Joe Evans, Sr., John Ryan, George Cox, Blake Ward and Joe Evans, Jr. A viewing will be held on Friday, October 15, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland. Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM. Pastor Ron Tabor will officiate. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery.
