Lorraine Faith "Laurie" Parlow
Lorraine Faith "Laurie" Parlow, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on October 13, 2012. She was 75.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Charles and Ruth Shapiro Locke. She was the wife of the late Irwin Neil Parlow.
Mrs. Parlow is survived by her mother, Ruth Shapiro Locke of Lake Worth, FL, her loving sons, Scott D. Parlow of Middletown, DE, and Adam J. Parlow of Havre de Grace, MD, and her siblings, Neil Locke and his wife Randi of Lake Worth, FL, Sylvia Hamai and her husband Nisso of Lake Worth, FL, and Bruce Laracuente and his wife Marilyn, of Redondo Beach, CA.
Mrs. Parlow had a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Widener University, Chester, PA. She was employed as an office manager for several non-profit organizations before retiring. Before settling in Havre de Grace, MD, she was a resident of Staten Island, NY, for over 25 years. Prior to living in Staten Island, Mrs. Parlow also lived in Brooklyn and Rockaway Beach, NY, and Pittsburgh and Wallingford, PA.
A service will be held in Lake Worth, FL, at a later date. Contributions may be made in her memory to Humane Society of Harford County, 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD 20147.
