V. Lucile Correri, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May 15, 2016. She was 80.
Mrs. Correri was born in Smythe County, Virginia, to the late Edward Collins and Ethel Osborne Collins. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Correri, Sr., loving mother of Joseph J. Correri, Jr., and his wife Joyce of North East, MD; Anthony Allen Correri and his wife Margaret of Edgewood, MD; and Susan Michelle Correri of Aberdeen, MD. She was the grandmother of 8, and great-grandmother of 7. Mrs. Correri was the sister of Doug Collins and Venne Dixon.
Mrs. Correri served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. She worked for Military Intelligence at Aberdeen Proving Ground. She also served on the Havre de Grace City Council from 1990- 1992. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. Mrs. Correri was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Interment will be held at Mt. Erin Cemetery.
