Mabel Culley of Havre de Grace, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

She was 89 years old and the devoted wife of the late Russell Culley.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late William W. and Ruth Smith, she was the beloved mother of Terri Glenn and her husband David, Brenda Hewitt, and her husband Barry; devoted grandmother of Kellie Glenn, Samantha Hannah, Shawn Glenn, Brett Jewell, and Shane Jewell; adoring great-grandmother of Brogan Hannah, Jordan, and Harper Glenn; loving sister Billie Jean Owens.

Ms. Culley was a graduate of Havre de Grace High School. She was the President of the Havre de Grace American Legion Auxiliary Post #47, a member of the Havre de Grace VFW Post #8126, Havre de Grace Elks Lodge 1564, Havre de Grace United Methodist Church for more than 50 years, The Young at Heart Club and the High Steppers. She loved to dance. She loved reading and coloring with her grandchildren. Above all she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, MD. Officiating services will be Rev. Michael Caldwell. Pallbearers will be Kellie Glenn, Shawn Glenn, Samantha Jewell, Brett Jewell, Shane Jewell, Matthew Bruno, and Jack Bruno. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Hewitt, David Glenn, and Robert Owens.
