Margaret Jane Leppert

Margaret Jane Leppert, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on November 24, 2011. She was 82.
She was born in Principio Furnace, Maryland to the late Robert L. Powell and Mary Carter Baker. She was the devoted wife of 65 years to Charles H. Leppert. She was the loving mother of Joane M. Timberlake and her husband George, Jr., of Gilbertsville, PA, and Christine E. Paxton of Aberdeen, MD and C. Baxter Leppert and his wife Karen, of Havre de Grace, MD, She was the adored grandmother of John M. Paxton, III, Elizabeth Timberlake-Newell, George A. Timberlake, III, and Sarah M. Leppert, and great- grandmother of Kersten Paxton, John M. Paxton, IV, Arwen Timberlake- Newell, and Azure Timberlake- Newell. She was the sister of Irene Rice of Havre de Grace, MD, and the late Robert L. Powell, George E. Powell, and Barbara Ford.
Mrs. Leppert was well known for her handmade dolls and rabbits. She enjoyed crafting and participating in craft shows. She was a member of the Harford County Chapter of Homemakers.
A visitation will be held on December 27, 2011 from 6 to 7 P.M. with a memorial service beginning at 7 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Maryland 21078.
