Margaret Anne Mergler
Margaret Anne Mergler, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 7, 2010. She was 101.
She was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Clayton V. Kaylor, and the late Cora Spencer Beckman.
She was the loving wife of the late Donald Louis Mergler.
She is survived by her grandchildren Donald Wooten of Havre de Grace, Martha Stinson of Bel Air, MD, David Wooten, of Aberdeen, MD, Charles Douglas Wooten of Havre de Grace, MD, Margaret "Peggy" Ayers, of Havre de Grace, MD, Richard Wooten of Havre de Grace, MD. She had several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her step-father John C. Beckman, her daughter, Barbara Elizabeth Wooten, and her brother, Buddy Kaylor.
Mrs. Mergler was a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Prayer Circle, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 12, at 11:00 AM at Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, 101 South Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Interment will follow at Angel Hill Cemetery. Pastor Brenda Fox and Rev. Ed Heydt will officiate.
Contributions may be made in her memory to Havre de Grace United Methodist Church.
