Mark Andrew Glassman, a beloved son, father, and brother, passed away on April 13, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland. Born on October 6, 1973, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Mark’s life was deeply rooted in the community he cherished.

A proud graduate of Havre de Grace High School, Mark dedicated his career to craftsmanship and hard work, establishing himself as a skilled plumber and worked at Stillwell Plumbing. Beyond his professional achievements, Mark's heart was truly at home being outdoors. He found joy and peace in fishing, hunting, and the unique pastime of metal scrapping—activities that connected him with nature and his sense of freedom.

Mark was known for his love of the outdoors, an aspect of his personality that brought warmth and vitality to those around him. His spirit was adventurous, always eager to explore the beauty of the natural world and share those moments with others.

He is survived by his father, Charles W. Glassman, who undoubtedly holds treasured memories of his son’s journey through life. Mark was a devoted father to his children, Taylor, Allison, and Tristan Glassman, whose lives he enriched with his love. He also leaves behind his siblings, Barry Glassman and his wife Debi, and Vicki Ruth Hawkins and her husband Coale, who will carry his memory in their hearts.

He faced many challenges throughout his life, but in recent years, he found renewed strength and purpose in his role as a father. He cherished the time spent with his children and worked hard to rebuild meaningful connections with them.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Louise (Burns) Glassman, and his brother, Richard C. Glassman, who now rest peacefully alongside him.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for visitation on April 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., located at 927 Pulaski Hwy, Havre de Grace, MD. A funeral service commemorating Mark’s life will be held the following day, April 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the same location. Following the service, Mark will be laid to rest at Rock Run Cemetery, 4102 Rock Run Road, Havre de Grace, MD.

Mark’s passing leaves a deep void in the lives of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in his children, in the moments they shared, and in the love he worked hard to give. He will be remembered for his strength, his spirit, and the effort he made to grow and be present for those who mattered most.
