Martha E. (Harmon) "Granny" Broomfield
Martha E. (Harmon) "Granny" Broomfield, of Conowingo, MD, passed away surrounded by her family at Harford Memorial Hospital, on June 9, 2009. She was 84. She had lived most of her life in Houston, Texas.
She was born in Chapel Hill, TX to the Late John B. and Lucy M. (Kincheloe) Harmon. She was a loving wife to the Late James O. Broomfield.
She was a devoted mother to Peggy E. Zellman and her husband Ron of Conowingo, MD. She was a loving Grandmother of John O. Zellman and his wife Marianne of Port Deposit, MD and Christy George of Conowingo, MD. She was an adoring Great-Grandmother of Bryce Zellman, Damon George, Cheyenne George and Aidan Zellman. She is survived by her Sister-in-Law's Delores Neimir and Liz Broomfield. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters John Harmon, Robert Harmon and his wife Martha Ann and Frances Fisher. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on June 11, 2009 from 5 to 7 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078. Where a service will be held at 7 PM.
Officiating will be Pastor Edward Heydt.
Interment will be held in Bertram, TX at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County, 100 E. Bel Air Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
