Mary Barbara Horley, of Darlington, MD, passed away on August 4, 2019. She was 82.
Mrs. Horley was born in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Ernest and Minnie. She was the devoted wife of 59 years to Gary Lee Horley, loving mother of Chris Lee Susman and her husband Scott, and Linn Lee Griffiths and her husband Peter, of Darlington, MD. She is survived by her brother Frank of Camp Hill, PA.
Mrs. Horley Received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University and then went on to obtain her degree in Speech Pathology from Penn State. She spent most of her career with the Head Start Programs of Harford and Cecil County. Mrs. Horley loved baseball and spending time with her family. She was also known to be a phenomenal Italian Cook.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 10:00 AM, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
