Mary Clark Lambert, 92, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away at her home on July 27, 2023.

Born in Havre de Grace on April 27, 1931, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Mary Fahey Clark. She had a passion for horses and for many years taught horseback riding and owned several thoroughbred horses. Active in civic affairs, Mary was a member of the Lockhouse Museum and served on the Planning and Zoning Commission as well as the Havre de Grace Historic Preservation Commission.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Karen L. Gorsuch and her husband Scott, Mark A. Lambert, and John M. Lambert and his wife Linda; 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years René Lambert who died in 2015.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078 on Thursday August 17, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Havre de Grace Lockhouse Museum
