It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Walker, who left this world peacefully on January 16, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on April 23, 1932, in Staten Island, NY, Mary was a lifelong resident of love and service in Havre de Grace, MD, for over 50 years, having spent her final years in Port Deposit, MD.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister whose life was centered around her family. She is survived by her three cherished children: Robert Walker, Jr., Lisa Drennen and husband, Rick Drennen, Jr., and Anne Marie Harmison and husband, Brian Harmison. She took great joy in watching her grandchildren, Heidi Walker, Robert Walker III, Brandon Drennen, Brent Drennen, Elizabeth Harmison, and Tyler Harmison thrive in their pursuits and sports, always boosting their spirits from the sidelines. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Lucas Walker and Oliver Drennen, whose lives she touched deeply.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stanley Walker, Sr., her parents, Prosper Parello, and Anna Schipani Parello, her son, Stephen Walker, and sister, Mildred Cinanelli.
With a high school diploma in hand, Mary dedicated her career as a secretary in the beverage industry, where she found fulfillment as a long-time employee of Pepsi Cola in Havre de Grace, working alongside her two beautiful sisters, Mildred and Barbara . Her professional life was only a small part of her multifaceted existence; she found immense joy in cooking and cultivating her garden, inviting family and friends to share in her bounty.
Mary was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where she made a lasting impact by teaching CCD classes for over 30 years. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through challenges and bringing her immense joy.
The family will gather to honor her memory with a Mass at St. Patrick's Parish Hall on January 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM. All who knew and loved Mary are invited to join in celebrating the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Following the Mass, Mary will be laid to rest at Harford Memorial Gardens, where her memory will continue to bloom alongside the vibrant gardens she adored. The Mass will be Livestreamed via Facebook @ ZellmanFuneralHome, P.A..
Mary Ann Walker was a shining example of love, devotion, and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In the hearts of her family and friends, her spirit will live on forever.
