Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Miami Mae Mitchell, who left this world on October 16, 2025, at the tender age of just three months. Born on July 14, 2025, in Bel Air, Maryland, Miami was a radiant light in the lives of her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving mother, Alexandra Sanchez, and her devoted father, Haissaun Mitchell. Miami is also cherished by her siblings: Brayden, Laylani, Javanni, Naussiah, and Alina Mitchell, each of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Miami was outgoing, intelligent, self aware, humorous, loving, acknowledging, understanding, and very advanced (for her age). She loved to be held more than anything. Unless she was in her chair while watching TV. - She always loved to watch TV no matter what show or movie was on at the time but her favorite show was "Ms Rachel". There were times that she would pout if she couldn't watch TV. Miami even enjoyed watching sports with her father at times. She loved to play with her brothers and sisters everyday. All of Her siblings would make her laugh so much whenever they played "peak-a-boo" with her. She loved nap time. Whenever she would get tired, rubbing her head while rocking her would put her to sleep within seconds.

Her family would like family and loved ones to remember how joyful she was with a very good sense of humor and she was very loving with anyone she came in contact with. She was joyful to the point, If you were to just stare at her for long she would eventually just smile back at you. I would also like for people to remember how advanced and intelligent she was for her age. She would move around a lot and could even hold her own head up at just 2 months old. She had a very good sense of humor and self awareness. Someone could make a joke about something and she would be the first one in the entire room to laugh at it before anyone else would. Even if someone were to say something that didn't make sense to her, she would make a confused facial expression. Alot of loved ones would always speak about how she had an "old soul". Last but not least she was so loving. Everyvtime someone would put her to sleep for a nap she would lay her head their chest while holding on tight to them, gripping on to their shirt.

In honor of Miami's brief but impactful life, a public viewing will be held on October 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. During this time, family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the precious moments and the love shared with Miami Mae.

Although her time with us was far too short, Miami's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. We ask that you keep her family in your thoughts during this difficult time and join us in honoring the beautiful soul of Miami Mae Mitchell.
