Michael Anthony "Tony" Buchanan, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on December 3, 2022. He was 48 years old.

Tony was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Robert "Bobby" and Patricia Buchanan. He was the father of Reese Christian Buchanan and husband of 10 years to Jillian Winterling Buchanan. He was predeceased by his parents.

Tony graduated from Havre de Grace High School in 1992. He then attained his Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy and a Master's Degree in Business, from University of MD. Tony worked most recently for Medstar. He was formerly the Director of Pharmacy at Franklin Square and was an Adjunct Professor for the University of MD. Tony was extremely active with the Boy Scouts throughout his life. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed helping his son with his Boy Scout events and projects. He coached soccer, basketball, and baseball for his son's teams, and was an avid football fan.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 5-6 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral services will begin at 6 PM. Rev. Michael Caldwell will officiate.
