Michael Scott Kinsey, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May 2, 2021. He was 70.

Mr. Kinsey was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to George O'Brien Kinsey and Jacqueline Frances Potts Kinsey. He was the loving brother of Timothy Kinsey (Joyce) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Stephen Kinsey (Claudia) of Havre de Grace, MD. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kinsey served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He retired from American Scale. Mr. Kinsey was a member of the American Legion Post 47. He was a volunteer firefighter with Water Witch Fire Company and the Susquehanna Hose Co. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar and drums. Michael was beloved by those who knew him, especially amongst his friends and family. His home was a gathering spot for many holidays, not least of which was the annual 4th of July parade, where all were welcome.

His loss looms large over not just friends and family, but all those who met him. He will be sorely missed, but his family, friends and loved ones know that this isn't a goodbye. This is goodbye, for now, Mike.
