Michael Joseph Ward, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on March 3, 2023. He was 53 years old.

Mr. Ward was born in Augsburg, Germany, to James Richard Ward and the late Shirley Jean Foreman Ward. He was the loving companion of 34 years, to Amy Steier, father of Jeffrey Matthew Welshons and Brandon Lawrence Ward (Miranda Ann Ward), grandfather of Marvin Michael Ward and Beverly Sophia Ward, and brother of Jason Ward (Jessica).

Mr. Ward enjoyed nature, whether it was hunting, fishing or watching eagles in the area. He loved being with his family, especially his grandkids. He faithfully read his bible every night. Mr. Ward loved history, especially military history.

Graveside services will be held at on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD.
