Millard Burl Preston, Sr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on June 19, 2014. He was 88.
He was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late Burl A. Preston and Catherine Thompson Preston. He was the devoted husband of the late Helen Olieva Preston. He was the loving father of Millard B. Preston, Jr., of Virginia, and Helen I. Rudd, Marie E. Preston, Audrey A. Kelley, and Joanne Kaschnigg, all of Havre de Grace, MD. He is survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Preston loved working on his farm and raising beef cattle. He enjoyed hunting squirrels, rabbit and deer, and running beagles. He enjoyed going for rides with his family, watching "western movies", and hanging out at the Aberdeen McDonalds. He was also a life member of Level Volunteer Fire Company.
