Nancy Carolyn
Talley

In Loving Memory of
Nancy Carolyn Talley
June 16, 1956-July 5, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Carolyn Talley on July 5, 2026 at the age of 70.
Born on June 16, 1956 in Baltimore, Nancy was the loving daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Pfaff. She was the devoted wife of the late Michael Talley for 39 years at the time of his passing. Nancy was the proudest mother to daughters Jennifer (Ron) and Carrie (Joe). She was the most boastful Mom Mom to granddaughters Megan (Cody) and Mackenzie (Charlie). Nancy was the most joyful GREAT grandmother to great grandson Avery Michael. She was the dependable sister to siblings Irene, Barbara, and the late Charles, Robert, and Bernice.
Nancy was a certified phlebotomist for over three decades with Citrano Medical Laboratories until her retirement in 2020. During that time, she worked in various nursing facilities and Greater Baltimore Medical Center as well. She was the most loyal, dependable, and skilled employee. She often said being a phlebotomist was her passion. You will never find another with such a tremendous work ethic.
Outside of work, Nancy had a love for music. Since childhood, collecting vinyl records, concerts, and country line dancing. Any hobby became an obsession, collecting shelves and shelves of VHS tapes and eventually DVDs. So much so, they were catalogued and numbered like Blockbuster. Nancy got into fresh and saltwater aquariums. Michael came home to a 55-gallon tank in the dining room. She always got into her projects when he was out of the house hunting. That same 55-gallon greets you in the foyer now. Nancy was a DIYer before that was even a word; sewing, painting, and wallpapering. She didn’t cook much, but she was known for her broccoli casserole. Nancy’s favorite past-time was shopping. She wasn’t intimidated by the transition of online shopping; she adapted VERY well! Owning a timeshare in Myrtle Beach, spent many vacations there, Virgina Beach, and Orlando. With her favorite vacation spent in Aruba. Nancy enjoyed her get away trips with her girls, taking cruises, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Salem. Still, her favorite itinerary was shopping. Summers were filled with family and friends for cookouts and swimming.
If Nancy knew you, you would be considered her friend. Best friends were always her family; siblings, daughters, and granddaughters. As a matter of fact, she always called her granddaughters ‘her girls’, claiming them as her own.
Nancy will always be remembered as strong, determined, loyal, and dependable. Though she will be deeply missed, her love, guidance, and family purpose will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10th 6pm-8pm. The memorial service will be Saturday, July 11th at 11am, followed by a luncheon. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
