Nellie May Goad, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on August 23, 2024. She was 89 years old.

Mrs. Goad was born in Pulaski, VA, to Thomas Gravely and Hester Worrell Gravely. She was the devoted wife of the late Elmer Gene Goad, loving mother of Richard Goad (Cheryl), Patricia Williams (Mark), and Ron Goad, grandmother of Chris Crouse, Jamie Cox, Anthony Goad, and Ryan Taylor, great-grandmother of Jayden McIntyre, Bryson Weeks, Allison Weeks, and Christopher Crouse. She was predeceased by her siblings, Odell Gravely, Pearl Gravely Bullion, Hazel Gravely Johnston, Donald Gravely, Jimmy Gravely, and Jackie Gravely.
Mrs. Goad enjoyed sewing and making ceramics when she was younger. She worked at Bata Shoe Company and Harford Duracool. Mrs. Goad loved her chihuahua "Bella"

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5-7 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 927 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 7PM.

Interment will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Highland Memorial Gardens, 555 Lee Highway, Dublin, VA.
