Nora Priscilla Dennis
Nora Priscilla Dennis, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 27, 2012. She was 91.
She was born in Lapidum, MD, to the late William Wright and Virginia Singleton Wright.
Mrs. Dennis was an Avon Sales Consultant for 45 years. She enjoyed dancing and teaching dance. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, MD and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 47 and VFW Post 8126.
She was predeceased by her husband, James L. Dennis, her sons, Larry Dennis, Monte Dennis and Ricky Dennis, her brothers William Thomas Wright, Cleveland Wright and John Wilmer Wright, and a sister, Violet Diffenderfer.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Haffner, 4 nieces and 1 nephew, 3 grandchildren and several great- and great-great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Monday, April 30, from 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at 11:00 at the funeral home. Pastor Ron Smith will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
