Nora Mae Ragan, of Elkton, MD, passed away on March 1, 2023. She was 85 years old.

Mrs. Ragan was born in Sugar Grove, Virginia, to Woodrow Arnold and Alma Louise Arnold. She was the devoted wife of the late Wilson Harry Ragan, loving mother of Daniel Ragan (Susan), grandmother of Lindsey Ragan Cochran (Ed), and Lisa Ragan Triplett, great-grandmother of Tiana Warfield, Janae Warfield, Larissa Warfield, Silas Mason, Chloe Triplett, Caydin Triplett, and Daniel Triplett. She was the sister of Richard Arnold (Maggie), Mary Ann Funk (John), Daryle Arnold (Linda), and the late Theodore "Ted" Arnold, Roger Arnold, and Robert Arnold. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Bessie Arnold and Betty Arnold, and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews

Mrs. Ragan retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground, after working for 30 years as a budget analyst. She then worked at Havre de Grace Elementary School in the cafeteria. Mrs. Ragan loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and feeding and watching birds.

A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
