Norma Cook Bennington, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on March 21, 2023. She was 92.

Mrs. Bennington was born in Elk Mills, MD, to Allen Bristow and Elsie Lucille Guiberson Bristow. She was the devoted wife of the late Arthur Wayne Cook and the late Jessie Thomas Bennington, loving mother of Michael Wayne Cook (Mary Louise Cook), Thomas Duane Cook (Elaine Cook), and Kathleen Cook, grandmother of Jason Cook (Kerri), Jared Cook (Aimee), Jennifer Cook, Jesse Cook, Lauren Cook and the late Ashley Cook (Ben Marietta), and great-grandmother of Alexander Cook, Camron Cook, and Elijah Cook. She was sister of Stephen Bristow and the late James Bristow.

Mrs. Bennington was a member of Grove Presbyterian Church, Hopewell United Methodist Church, and American Legion Post 47 Auxiliary. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching birds, and boating. Mrs. Bennington was very supportive of her community, volunteering at church, Harford Memorial Hospital, and the Concord Point Lighthouse. She was very giving to many organizations, especially St. Jude.

Services will be held on April 22, 2023, 11 AM, at Grove Presbyterian Church, 50 East Bel Air Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
