Obituary

Pamela "Scratch" Lynn Walstrum, a beacon of joy and laughter, passed away in the comfort of her daughter's home on December 16, 2025. Born on February 11, 1963, in Havre de Grace, to the late Earl and Anna (Taylor) Stevens, her spirit was as vibrant as the life she led. Pam had attended Edgewood High School, embarking on a journey that would see her touch the lives of so many.

For many years, she worked at Glen Eagle’s sewing factory in Bel Air and then became a bartender at the Eagle's Nest which later became known as Pool N Pints. Pam was a natural at connecting with people and leading great conversations. Pam brought warmth to every gathering, establishing herself as the life of the party and a cherished friend to all who crossed her path. Her laughter, kind nature, and infectious energy drew people in, making her presence an unforgettable highlight in the tapestry of life.

Pam’s journey through life was not merely defined by her career but was rich with passions and interests. An avid player and team captain for the APA Pool League, was a dedicated and valuable player for her team "Oh Snap". She wielded her pool cue with finesse, bringing her competitive spirit to the table. The beach was her sanctuary, which gave her joy and tranquility. Whether she was belting out her favorite karaoke tunes or line dancing under shimmering lights, Pam transformed any event into an extraordinary celebration, crafting memories that would linger long after.

Her legacy is upheld by her devoted husband, Ken Walstrum, Sr., with whom she shared 47 years of love and partnership. Together, they built a beautiful family, woven with the lives of their children: Amanda Brown and her husband Clyde, Elisa Brown and her husband Ryan, Kayla Winchester, Ken Walstrum, Jr. and his girlfriend Molly, and Samantha Polite and her husband Jon. The joy of Pam's life shines brightly through her cherished grandchildren: Nathan Brown, Hannah Brown, Kaylee Walstrum, Jayda Winchester, Justyce Winchester, Jazlyn Winchester, and Camden Walstrum.

She is survived by her beloved siblings – Robert Hartman, Jerry Hartman, Barbara Campbell, Gloria Howell, Jean Crosby, and Earlene Stevens – all of whom carry her memory in their hearts. She will be warmly remembered alongside her late brother, Frank Hartman, and late sister, Linda Jennings, forever keeping their spirits alive in the stories they shared.
