Patricia Shepherd Dailey, age 67, died at Gilchrist Hospice Center, surrounded by her loving family, in Towson, MD on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
She was born on July 21, 1952 to Charles and Betty Painter Shepherd in Oak Hill, WV. She was a 1972 graduate of North Harford High School and continued her education by successfully completing the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Harford Community College. Mrs. Dailey spent most of her life in Harford County and she has been a resident of Havre de Grace since 1976. In 1996, she met the love of her life and husband, Mr. Steven Dailey, with whom she enjoyed traveling, biking, camping, and spending time with family. She loved being a nurse and spent over 25 years working at Citizen's Care Center.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Shepherd of Havre de Grace, husband, Steven Dailey, her daughters, Danya Williams and husband Jonathan of Hope Mills, NC and Sherry Moore of Havre de Grace, MD, and her bonus sons Matthew Dailey and wife Emily of Fulton, MD and Benjamin Dailey of Rego Park, NY, brother Charles Shepherd of Deltona, FL and sister Sherry Smith of Bel Air, MD. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren, Trevor Moore, Kaytlynn Mitchell, Derrick Pettaway, Darrell Pettaway, and Mackenzie Mitchell.
Her viewing will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD, on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. We will Live Stream her Celebration of Life which will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. The funeral home staff will assist attendees with current mandated crowd restrictions. Further instructions will be posted to assist those wishing to stream her service.
