With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia C. Whited, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who passed away on April 30, 2024, at her home in Havre de Grace, MD.
Born in Pittsville, MD, to the late James H. and Dolly (Riggin) Clow. Patricia was a compassionate and outgoing health technician "school nurse" employed by the Harford County Board of Education. She was loved by many school children and staff. She was known for her warm personality, love of travel, and her passion for playing cards with friends at the Young at Heart senior club. Patricia was a dedicated member of the Red Hatters and found joy in planting flowers for each upcoming season. She enjoyed visiting the ocean, and spending time at the beach with her friends and family.
Patricia had a deep faith in God and believed in giving back to her community, especially through her involvement in church functions. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years Jerry Whited, her son, Greg Whited (Jill), her daughter, Margaret Lynn Whited, her precious fur babies Nugget and Pepper, her sister Fern Dzielak, her brother Jon Lionel "Lonnie" Clow (Joan), her sister-in-law Elizabeth Clow and was predeceased by her brother Richard "Dick" Clow and sister Beverly Clow Gordy. Patricia cherished her time with her numerous nieces and nephews; Jeff Dzielak, Alan Dzielak, Vickie Gordy-Stith, Amy Clow, Martha Rothchild, Laurie Gordy, Michelle Clow Perugini and the late Howard "Howie" Gordy and Kathy Galvin, and many great nieces and great nephews, as well as extended family members who cherished her dearly.
A visitation will be held at the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church on May 14, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11 am, 101 S. Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Where a funeral service will take place at 11 am with Pastor Norman Obenshain, immediately following burial will take place at Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
In honor of her memory and the love she spread, we invite all who knew Patricia to join us in commemorating her life and legacy.
