It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Michael Lynch, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated military veteran, who departed this life on February 5, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on June 22, 1960, in Indianapolis, IN, Patrick spent his formative years embodying the values of service and patriotism that would define his life.
Patrick proudly served in the U.S. Army, fighting on the front lines during Desert Storm and serving two tours of duty in Germany. During his military career he was decorated with numerous awards for his exemplary service, including the Saudi Arabia Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, two Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, and the National Defense Medal. After an illustrious military career, Patrick retired from the Army and continued to serve his community as an associate at W.L. Gore.
He was a devoted family man, leaving behind his wife, Kathy Lynch, daughter April Vincent (Thomas), and son Patrick Lynch (Sara). Patrick cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren-Kaydence Vincent, Keagan Vincent, Kyler Vincent (Lacey), Kaleb Downing (Jaynee Downing), and Landon Lynch-who brought immense joy to his life. Patrick was preceded in death by his father Patrick Joseph Lynch.
In his free time, Patrick, being a Corvette enthusiast, was a former member of the Bel Air Corvette Club and enjoyed countless hours bowling, golfing, and traveling with family and friends. His passion for history and his love for bald eagles showcased his deep appreciation for the beauty of life and the world around him.
A celebration of Patrick's life will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 5 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., with a visitation prior from 4-5 PM. All who knew and loved him are invited to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived. The services will be Live-streamed via Facebook @ZellmanFuneralHome, P.A., and will be available on Patrick's Triubte Page.
Patrick Michael Lynch will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the values he stood for will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
