It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patrick Scott Woodie, who left us on May 3, 2026. Born on November 18, 1973 in Radford, Virginia. Scott worked as a ballistics technician for Bowhead, at Aberdeen Proving Ground through 2015, where he applied his skills to the field of ballistics testing.
A former member of Susquehanna Hose Company, Scott was a passionate outdoor enthusiast, who found joy in hunting and fishing. His mechanical prowess and love for tinkering with all things mechanical were admired by many and reflected his curious spirit.
Scott will be remembered for his humor and laugh and his love for the outdoors. He was deelply loved by his four children: Kyle Anthony Woodie, Devon Scott Woodie, Skyler Ray Woodie, and Aidan Cole Woodie. He is also survived by his grandson Kyson Reed Woodie, his mother, Linda Woodie, and sisters, Niki Ladymon and Christina Roop, and cherished niece and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Edward James Woodie and brothers, James Edward Woodie and Shawn Duane Woodie.
In honoring Scott's life, funeral services will be held at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. on May 7, 2026. Family and friends are invited to a public visitation beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM.
Scott will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Please join us in celebrating his life and the memories we cherish.
