Paul Hunter Crawford, Sr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on July 7, 2014. He was 95.
Mr. Crawford was born in Ridgely, WV, to Isaac Hunter Crawford and Katherine Beale Crawford. He was the devoted husband of the late Gipsie K. Crawford. He was the loving father of Paul H. Crawford, Jr., and wife Mary; Michael D. Crawford and wife Deborah; and Linda K. Crawford, all of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the adored grandfather of Cynthia Ann Ingram, Michael "Mickie" Crawford, Marjorie Crawford, Alicia Montgomery, Kevin Montgomery, Paul Montgomery, and the late David Paul Crawford, Michael Crawford, Jr., Steven Crawford, and Baby Crawford. Mr. Crawford had 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren. He was predeased by his 5 sisters.
Mr. Crawford enjoyed carvivng decoys, making miniature furniture, and wordcraft engraving.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at 1st Christian Church, 800 Giles Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Pastor Ron Tabor will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Paul Montgomery, Eddie Jiminez, Michael "Mickie" Crawford, Dennis Bolen, Sr., Chris Walter, and Ernest Mack.
