Paul Robert Lewis, Sr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on March 6, 2023. He was 74 years old.

Mr. Lewis was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Louis Elmer Lewis and Katherine M. Griffin Lewis. He was the devoted husband of Kathryn Barbara Lewis, the loving father of Paul Robert Lewis, Jr., (Amanda), Philip Ryan Lewis, the loving stepfather of Michael Charles DeCarlo (Lori), and Matthew Louis DeCarlo (Lisa). He was the grandfather of Paul Robert Lewis, III, Claudia MacKensie Lewis, Ava Elizabeth Lewis, Karsen Eileen Lewis, Ryan Michael DeCarlo, Colin Matthew DeCarlo, Kerri Olivia-Marie DeCarlo, Katelyn Brooke DeCarlo, Samantha Nicole DeCarlo, Nicole Marie DeCarlo, and Justin Matthew DeCarlo. Mr. Lewis was the brother of Emory Koch (Pat-deceased) and Gail Mengle (Bob), and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lewis served in the U.S. Marine Corps., in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association Post 588, and served on their Color Guard. Mr. Lewis was a car enthusiast and was a member of the Porsche Club. He enjoyed camping and his many trips to Summit Point Raceway.

A service will be held on March 21, 2023, at 11:30, at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032.
