Paula Carol (Barben) Moore, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of Aldino, Maryland, passed away on January 17, 2024. She lived a merry 74 years.

Paula was born in Fountain Green, Maryland to Paul Howard Barben and Doris Phyllis (Rehmeyer) Barben. Paula and her adoring husband Gary Thomas Moore, formerly of Aberdeen, Maryland, enjoyed a wonderful adventure for fifty-three years. Paula was the loving mother of Tina Paulette (Moore) Glass, and Aaron Thomas Moore and devoted grandmother to Aubrey Caterina Glass and Theodore Keegan Glass. Paula is survived by sisters Cynthia and Rebecca, brother Paul and over twenty nieces and nephews. Paula was snuck in the side door of Heaven by her two sisters Pamela and Linda.

Paula is remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be sorely missed. Paula was an advocate for at-risk pets and Democrats. Paula was a bibliophile, consuming approximately 1.9 Million novels with sheer happiness. Paula enjoyed embroidery and quilt making; European art and travel; collecting ceramics and historical pieces; American football, and the Beatles. Paula will be crestfallen to miss the Baltimore Ravens playoff journey this season.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre De Grace, Maryland. Interment will occur at Harford Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Aberdeen, MD. Rev Paul Martin will officiate.
