Rachel Jeannette Bussey, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on January 26, 2023. She was 84.

Mrs. Bussey was born in Dillon, South Carolina, to Goldman Lockemy and Virginia Burr Lockemy. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Bussey, Jr., loving mother of Donna Jean Weeks (Andrew), Edward C. Bussey, III, (Lauren), and Angela "Angel" Wishoet (Michael). She was the grandmother of Joshua Wishoet, Hannah Wishoet, Lillian J. Gordan, Virginia Weeks, Edward C. Bussey, IV, Paula Bussey, Nicholas Bussey, Timothy Bussey, Anona Bussey, Jack Collins, Jocelyn Ramsey and Elijah Ramsey, and great-grandmother of 9. Mrs. Bussey was the sister of Lacy G. Lockemy, and the late R. Glen Lockemy, Thomas G. Lockemy, and Betty J. Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 11 AM until 1 PM, at New Covenant Community Church, 2530 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, MD 21015. Funerals services will begin at 1 PM, at the church.

Interment will be held at Highview Memorial Gardens, Fallston, MD.
