Robert "Bud"Archibald DuBree, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on November 12, 2014. He was 79. Mr. DuBree was born in Havre de Grace to William John DuBree and Mabel Lorena Dagg DuBree.
He was the husband of the late Shirley Winton Rudisill DuBree, loving father of Cindy Triplett of Havre de Grace, MD, and the late Connie Lorraine DuBree. He was the adored grandfather of Craig Triplett and Ashley Marie Broadwater, Drew Triplett, and Evan Triplett, and great-grandfather of Chloe, Caydin, Daniel, Dominic, and Robert Triplett. He was the dear brother of John D. DuBree of Aberdeen, MD.
Mr. DuBree, affectionately known as "Pop" around the firehouse, served with the Level Volunteer Fire Company for fifty years. He was a Past-President, Vice-President, Ambulance Captain and Lieutenant, Fire Lieutenant and he served several years on the Board of Directors. He also was a member of the American Legion Post 47 Ambulance Corps., which is now the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps. Mr. DuBree was inducted into the Harford-Cecil Fireman's Association Hall of Fame in 1995.. His working years were spent with Acme Markets, where he was a meat-cutter and butcher. He also ran his own lawn-care business with the help of his grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Frank Roth will officiate.
