Robert Ellsworth Hunnewell, III, of Elkridge, Maryland, passed away on October 18, 2024. He was 61 years old.

Bob was born in Hadon Heights, NJ, to Robert Hunnewell, Jr, and Matilda (Morgan) Brunhamer.

He was the loving father of Danielle (Hunnewell) Dwelle (Jared), of Pensacola, FL, Nicole Hunnewell (Sam), of Rising Sun, and Brian Hunnewell, who passed in 2023. Growing up we enjoyed spending time outside experiencing nature while on hikes, fishing, and campfires. He loved to see us visit as much as he loved to see us go. He was our loveable grump to the end.

He was the grandfather of Delanie Shiflett and Sophia Leary. With Delanie, he spent years of quality time spoiling her and watching her grow. With Sophia, he spent visits at the beach, helping her learn to swim, and exploring the Panhandle of Florida.

He proudly was present at all major life events of his children and grandchildren.

He was the loving brother of Donna (Hunnewell) Everman, Dawn (Hunnewell) Iwasko, Diane (Hunnewell) Bonner. He loved being a "royal pain in the ass" to them as much as they loved harassing him.

Robbie, Bob, Dad, Poppy will be missed. We all loved him dearly. He lived and died the way he wanted. We loved and respected his independence.
