Robert Edward Kalinoski, Sr.
Robert Edward Kalinoski, Sr., passed away on July 4, 2010. He was 81.

He was born in Shamokin, PA, to the late Joseph and Anastasia Baginski Kalinoski.

He was the loving husband of 56 years to Madlyn Ann Kalinoski. He was the father of Robert E. "Bob" Kalinoski, Jr., and his wife Sharon of Havre de Grace, MD. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph A. Kalinoski, Nettie Padgett, and Rosalie Baldridge.

Mr. Kalinoski served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved sports and was a gifted athlete. When he was younger, he enjoyed football, basketball, and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed woodworking. He retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground, where he worked as a Master Machinist and a Model Maker. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 47, and St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, July 8, at 11:00 AM, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Father William J. O'Brien will officiate. Interment will be held at Mt. Erin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Baldridge, Gregg Mergler, Jeff Mergler, Mike Padgett, Shaun Ewing, and Andrew Mergler.
