It is with heavy hearts but also with fond memories that we celebrate the life of Robert Allan Keller, Sr. who passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on November 30, 2024. Born on November 17, 1952 in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Stanley E. and Constance (Berry) Keller. Robert was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend, whose presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.
Robert was a proud graduate of the University of Alabama in accounting and dedicated much of his career to the trucking industry, proudly serving as a truck driver for Bozel Trucking. Robert was not only a skilled truck driver but a man of great integrity and warmth. His love for the open road and the freedom it offered was a testament to his adventurous spirit. He found great joy in fishing, playing cards, and sharing his love of music through playing his guitar and piano. A knowledgeable reader, he enjoyed delving into subjects such as religion and politics, often reflected upon during quiet moments with his Bible. Those who knew him appreciated his culinary skills, particularly his mastery of the grill. An avid sport enthusiast, Robert could often be found cheering for his favorite teams and engaging in spirited discussions about the sport. He had a way of making everyone feel loved and valued, a legacy that will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Robert cherished time spent with his family, including his wife, Kimberly Darlene Miller, daughter Sienna Moog and her husband David, his son Robert Keller, Jr., his daughter Jessica Churn and her husband Stephen, and his grandchildren Gabriel, Hunter, and Wyatt. He is also survived by his sister Bonnie Spain and brother-in-law John, along with his brother Bruce and sister-in-law Brenda, he was preceded in death by his father Stanley,his mother Constance and his brother David Keller.
A memorial service to honor Robert's extraordinary life and legacy will be held at the Bethel Christian Center, 21 North Earlton Road, Havre de Grace, MD 21078 on December 14, 2024, at 12:00 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Robert to join us in celebrating his life and the joy he brought into our hearts.
