Robert L. Lockard of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on June 12, 2014 at the Gilchrist Hospice Center. He was 80 years old. He was the loving husband of the late Peggy Lockard.

Mr. Lockard was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Robert S. Lockard and Etta (Burlin) Schneider.

He was the devoted father to Robert L. Lockard, Jr. and his wife Rebecca and Carol Stansbury and her husband Howard. He was the adoring grandfather to Kelly Bryant, Kimberly Storch, Karen Smith, Janet Lockard, Jacquelyn Lockard and Emily Shott. He was the great-grandfather to Henry Storch, Hannah Storch, Katelyn Smith and Connor Smith. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Hamm.

Mr. Lockard had retired after many years as an Auto Parts Sales Manager. He was a member of the American Legion Post #47 and the Elks Lodge in Havre de Grace. He devoted his time helping others and volunteering.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10 A.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A.

Officiating will be Pastor Joe Skillman

Interment will be held at the Harford Memorial Gardens
