Robert E. Walker of Havre de Grace, MD passed away surrounded by his family on January 17, 2014 at the Citizens Care Center. He was 87. Mr. Walker was born in Michigan to the late William and Helen (Wilson) Walker and raised in Havre de Grace, MD. He was the loving brother to Jean Hawkins and her husband George, the late William Walker, and the late Doris Boatman. He was the loving husband to the late Clara P. (Slaughter) Walker. He was the devoted father to John W. Walker and his wife Susan, Scott E. Walker and his wife Lawrin and the late Robert C. Walker, Sr. He was the beloved grandfather to Frances K. Bowman, Chantal L. Richmond, R.C. Walker, J.W. Walker and Kevin Walker. He was the great-grandfather to Connor Bowman, Jarrett Bowman and Emery Walker. Mr. Walker was veteran of a WWII. At the end of his Army tour of duty, he worked as a Production worker for the Diamond Shamrock Company until the late 1970's. He enjoyed reading, playing the lottery and his Golden Retriever Mercedes. He loved and adored his grandchildren and family.
