Roberta (Willan) Kimball, of Havre de Grace, MD, died peacefully at home on September 4, 2015. She was 91. She was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late Stirling Parkes and Hilda Gladys (Sanders) Willan. She was predeceased by her siblings, Donald Willan, Ruth Willan-Kimball, Miriam Willan and David Willan.
Mrs. Kimball was the wife of the late John F. "Jack" Kimball, and loving mother of John F. "Fil" Kimball, Jr. of Bel Air, MD; Thomas W. Kimball of Centennial, CO; Alice (Kimball) Huxman of Halstead, KS; and the late Susan (Kimball) Fulford. She was the adored grandmother of Alex K. Fulford, Sarah (Kimball) Miller, Mark Kimball, Ben Kimball, Douglas Kimball, Paul Kimball, J.D. Huxman, Daniel Huxman, Rebecca Huxman, and Timothy Huxman. She was the great-grandmother of William Fulford, Wesley Fulford, Megan Kimball, Cora Fulford, Katie Miller, Ethan Kimball, Connor Miller and Jack Kimball.
Mrs. Kimball spent her life taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many others she treated as family. She was a member of Havre de Grace United Methodist Church and took part in many activities there. She was Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 27, member of Daughter's of the American Revolution, and the Harford County Historical Society. She was also an avid genealogist.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, 101 South Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Pastor Norman Obenshain will officiate.
