Rodney Brannan Jones
Rodney Brannan Jones, of Pikesville, MD, passed away on November 9, 2008. He was 84.
Mr. Jones was born in Perryman, Maryland, to the late Davis Reese Jones and the late Mildred Knight Carsins. He was the husband of the late Eleanor Brown Jones. He is survived by his devoted companion, Virginia Norris of Catonsville, MD and his loving daughter, Diane Jones of Havre de Grace, MD. He was predeceased by his brothers David and Elwood Jones, and also by his sisters, Bernice Pearce and Marcy Stephens.
Mr. Jones spent his working career as a Tree Care Expert for A&A Tree Experts in Pikesville. He enjoyed bird-watching, gardening and was an arborist. He was a member of the Maryland Ornithological Society and The Holly Society.
Services for Mr. Jones will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29, 11:00 AM, at Rock Run United Methodist Church, Rock Run Road, Havre de Grace, MD. Michael C. Hagebusch will officiate. Interment will be at Rock Run Cemetery.
