Roger Clinton Wagoner
Roger C. Wagoner, of Havre De Grace, MD., died on May 22, 2010.
He was born on June 19th, 1956 in Havre De Grace, MD,
He was the son of Evelyn and the late Clay C. Wagoner of Aberdeen, MD.
He worked for the Harford County Department of Public Works at the Abingdon water treatment plant facility as a Supervisor / Management Specialist for over 15 years. Previously he was employed by the City of Havre De Grace working at the Water Treatment Plant for approximately 17 years, working his way up to Supervisor.
Mr. Wagoner was also employed by the Bel Air Drive in Big M Restaurant for over 30 years, and the old Havre De Grace Movie Theater as a Projectionist.
He was a devoted life member of the Susquehanna Hose Company and Havre de Grace Ambulance Corp. Holding numerous elected positions Such as Chief of the Ambulance Corp., and Captain of the Fire Company, and many more.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, car shows, watching the Ravens, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Mr. Wagoner is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Lou Ann Wagoner;
a son Eric R. Wagoner and his wife, Jamie, of Seaford, Delaware, and a daughter Cynthia D. Bolyard and her husband Loye, of Aberdeen, MD; two sisters,
Deborah L. Simons of Aberdeen, MD, Karen L. DeHaven and her husband Joe, of Havre De Grace, MD, one brother Kenneth R. Wagoner of Aberdeen, MD. Five grand children, Tyler, Danielle, Ryan, Kayla Wagoner, and Miranda Bolyard. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
In addition to his father he was predeceased by two brothers Gary and David Wagoner.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 26, from 3-5pm, 7-9pm, and on Thursday, May 27, from 10-11am. at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A, 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 27, starting at 11am with the Rev. Nick McDonald officiating.
