Ronald Jay Zeigler, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born to the late Robert C. Zeigler and Laura B. Phillips Zeigler, in Havre de Grace, MD.

Ron served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the American Legion, Joseph L. Davis Post 47. He worked for various warehouses in the area, notably Johnson Controls in Belcamp where he made many lifelong friends.

Ron loved spending time on the water- fishing, crabbing and water skiing. He loved his music loud, his beer cold and never met a stranger. Ron had a kind heart and would frequently bring home stray animals and even befriended a squirrel that he could feed by hand. Ron found his greatest happiness in the company of friends and family, always ensuring everyone had a good laugh in his presence. He especially enjoyed being a father and grandpa.

Ronnie will be dearly missed by his surviving relatives: his daughters Julie Jordan and Lorrie Zeigler, his grandchildren Ian, Aubree, and Hayden Jordan, and Allie Fallon. His siblings Marilyn Mayhew (Mike), Robert L. Zeigler (Ann), Timothy Zeigler (Donna Kirkendall), and Rosie Summers (John), and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be private.
